Hello! I’m Madison Brown, and I am a rising junior at Clemson University, majoring in Graphic Communications with a double minor in Brand Communications and Business Administration. This summer, I have been the Account Manager Intern at the SourceLink Greenville SC facility.

During my internship, I have worked in a variety of departments on projects with the Client Services team, Marketing team, and Events team. As an Account Manager Intern, I have been able to observe and help build client relationships by ensuring all jobs are on schedule, content is correct, and the client is satisfied. I have assisted Senior Account Managers by helping with job logging, talking to schedulers, creating job tickets, sending pdf scans for approval, observing communication between clients and managers, and viewing samples/seeds for clients and production. It has been super fun getting to know the team. I value the advice and knowledge they have equipped me with throughout my internship.

Another valuable experience has been working with the Marketing team. I have worked across the board and experienced the many aspects of marketing’s role. I have worked on SourceLink rebranding projects, created a bio deck of all client-facing individuals in the company, researched and communicated with hotel sales managers to present possible options for the Healthcare Symposium in 2020. I also created promotional stickers to give out at tradeshows and events.

I have gotten involved at SourceLink by being a part of the Events committee. I have helped plan company events, brainstorm ideas for potential events, and developed all creative for the biggest event of the summer, SourceLink’s Field Day. Being on the Events team has helped me get to know my coworkers even more than just on a day to day basis.

Overall, I have loved working at SourceLink this summer. They have established a tight-knit atmosphere that is welcoming and promotes growth. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work for a company that cares so deeply about investing in the next generation. I cannot thank SourceLink enough for how inviting and encouraging the team has been throughout my internship.
